PAYTM Founder faced Data Theft
According to India Today India on Tuesday woke up to a bizarre news. Someone tried to blackmail Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma. Someone close. Details emerged and they paint a picture showing the betrayal of trust as well as the fact that in India not even savvy persons like Sharma get the idea of privacy. The betrayal is something that cops will deal with, but unfortunately the privacy part is something that Paytm may have to reckon with, given that it deals with private data of millions of people. If its founder can’t safeguard his own data, how the e-payment firm is going to keep safe the private details of millions of its users?
